19th Century engraving of Rosslyn Chapel
(enhanced and reworked by
Yvonne B. Cooper)
The Rosslyn Hoax?
The Rosslyn Hoax? was published in October
2006 and
looks at a variety of subjects associated with
Rosslyn Chapel
from a new perspective. Written by
Robert L D Cooper, the Curator
of the
Museum and Library of the
Grand Lodge of Scotland
- the home of Scottish Freemasonry. The author examines all the
various theories
which link
Rosslyn Chapel with
Freemasonry, the
Knights Templar and
the
St. Clair family etc. In the process he reveals some startling
facts and comes to some profound conclusions.
The information in the book will be an essential source of reference for all those interested in
Freemasonry (especially
Scottish Freemasonry),
Rosslyn Chapel,
the St. Clair (Sinclair) family, the
Knights Templar, the Kirkwall
Scroll and a host of other subjects.
The Da Vinci Code, although a
work of fiction, contains references to many of these subjects and
so inevitably that novel must also be discussed so far as it touches
on
Freemasonry and
Rosslyn Chapel. A separate
Da Vinci page has been created for
that purpose. To go there
